She stood watching as the casket holding her once dear friend Nicole Ritchie was carried inside. She followed and waited amongst the crowd as those who knew Nicole gave speeches and paid their respects. As the ceremony drew to an end a great door opened revealing a titanic fire in the center of the crematorium. Men, sweat pouring down their suit cuffs, hoisted the box onto their shoulders and gave the casket one final push into the blaze. As the flames flickered and spat around her remains a single tear strolled down Paris’ cheek. She whispered quietly to herself, eyes glazed over black in the shadows of the flames. “That’s hot,” she said. “That’s hot.”
